The MarylandCAN Spring 2012 Tell Your Story Essay Contest

The legislative session might be over, but our work isn’t.  Over the next few months, MarylandCAN: The Maryland Campaign for Achievement Now, will be touring the state to talk with parents, teachers, elected officials and community members about what it will take to close our achievement gap.  We’ll keep you informed and engaged with pictures, video and powerful statements from people all over the state of Maryland. 

To start, we want to hear from those at the center of our work: students.  This week, we’re launching The MarylandCAN Spring 2012 Tell Your Story Contest. We’re asking students from across the state to tell us their stories and share what they think will close Maryland’s achievement gap.
